Design Engineer

- Company Description

FTG LLC is an international company that offers hardware sales and consultancy solutions to Agricultural companies of all types and sizes. FTG specializes in the design and construction of farms, installation of specialized agricultural equipment, and the provision of third party research and development. Currently involved in several Projects throughout Russia, FTG is looking for young professionals to join the team on a contractual basis. Initiative, flexibility, and perseverance are key traits that we look for in new hires.

- Position Summary

The Design Engineer will work directly under the Chief Designer and with the Project Engineer, General Manager, and Client to develop and produce designs and drawings for Projects. This will include both the development of new projects, quotes, and equipment designs as well as resolution and improvement to the design of ongoing Projects.

- Salary

Base salary starts at 75,000 Rubles per month. Monthly salary will increase based on previous experience and applicable skills. Option for salary to be paid in USD.

- Language Requirements

To be considered, applicant must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.

- Roles and Responsibilities

Day-to-day tasks will include assisting management in the following functions:

• Develop building and equipment designs under the direction of Chief Designer
• Check and confirm the accuracy of current designs
• Communicate with key stakeholders to resolve issues in design drawings
• Develop new designs as part of company sales strategy

- Necessary Requirements

• English fluency, written and verbal.
• University degree in Engineering or Industrial Design.
• 1-3 years of experience in engineering or design fields.
• Previous experience working for an international company.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Kompas, Autodesk Revit, and other industry standard design software.

- Desirable Skills

• Excellent verbal / written communication skills.
• Results oriented.
• Organization, Time Management, Prioritization, and Attention to Detail required.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to adapt to changing Organizational and Operational needs.

- Location

• Primary employment location is Moscow with the possibility of short business trips domestically and internationally.

- Education Requirements

• University degree in Engineering or Industrial Design.

- Required Experience

• One to three years in Engineering, Design, or related fields.
• Employment with at least one international company.
