Duties

• Support action leaders to implement actions and further audit recommendations.
• Define and implement procedures linked to the Finance department.
• Maintain and update Finance procedures.
• Implementation of control procedures, determination of control deficiencies and development of plans of adjusting actions.
• Responsible for participating in process audits which will be defined yearly in the company’s audit program. This includes audit preparation and kick-off meeting, audit findings evaluation, corrective actions recommendations presented to audited directions, close-out meeting.
• Performance of special audits.
• Preparation of the draft audit report including executive summary, audit findings and recommendations. Then collecting responses from the audited Directions and if required clarify/amend the findings/recommendations after discussion with the concerned parties. Assist the concerned parties with addressing the action plans when requested.
• Review of the IS security control especially by monitoring proper segregation of duties through the access rights and profiles definition procedures (ASTRO tool in SAP, and 1C).
• Testing the “Income” process (yearly update of Income – web based IC reporting application), monitoring monthly follow-up of the company’s annual action plans and reporting Internal Control Manager.
• financial audits by external auditors.
• Ensure coordination during financial audits by corporate auditors

Requirements

• Person holding this position need to have prior experience in auditing and organization wise consulting or prior experience at a similar position within other mining or oil & gas industries, for at least two years, ideally preceded by Financial assignments in the industry.
• Fluent English is a must.
• Higher education.
• Knowledge of Russian and Kazakh languages.
