Main accountabilities:

• Create Purchase orders and release against BPA (Blanket Purchase Agreements) to meet production plan requirements (raw material and intermediates) for normal and consignment stock items and respond to short term needs.
• Maintain the warehouse rules into the system for the items (item master data); warehouse rules should be completely reviewed every quarter or when necessary in case of variation in the elements determining the warehouse rules.
• Analyze on weekly bases inventory level and take actions in order to optimize it
• Verify daily the late PROD and be constantly in touch with the suppliers to contribute at the respect of the OTIF. Feedback performance to purchasing.
• Check min and max levels for items and manage the claims on the non-respect of the contractual engagements.
• Provide all necessary support to Finance in monthly financial closing.
• Provide monthly forecasts to the suppliers for the purchased items
• Inform Purchasing Department about claims for the most significant late deliveries, or repetitive violation of the contractual agreements by the supplier on deliveries, lead time respect and all the other eventual service non-conformities. For this accountability the incumbent must cooperate strongly with the supplier and the Purchasing department with the final scope to increase OTIF.
• Cooperate with planning, technical teams, market team to manage in the most effective way stops of consumptions or new introductions, with the scope of achieving agreed service level and minimize the risk of obsolescence.
• Cooperate with Supply Chain manager in the analysis / management / Recoverable assets, with the scope of reducing SSPL.
• Work with the business owners to assess opportunities for cost savings.
• Process development/evaluation to achieve best practice; identifying areas for process/toolset improvement to increase efficiency and productivity.

The position requires:

• Supply chain basic skills, mainly focused on planning methodologies (good knowledge of MRP logic and pull system, setting correct stock levels)
• Knowledge of the IT tools (Oracle R12 or other ERP system, MS-Office)
• English language at good level; an additional language will be a plus.
