Scope

Contributes to a specific function while he/she learns, trains and improves skills in that particular area in order to gain a profound understanding of processes, products and services.

Main Responsibilities

1. Observes core processes through on the job training, project assignments and training activities.
2. Learns about Tenaris strategy, systems and processes.
3. Analyzes information and prepares different deliverables as reports and processes. Gains deep knowledge of the processes he/she is exposed to.
4. Maintains regular contact with other areas of the company, and interacts with different hierarchical levels in order to achieve the expected performance and results.
5. Develops specific projects either in manufacturing areas, related technical areas, or staff areas.
6. Develops and manages a set of Key Performance Indicators to monitor and measure the area’s results.
7. Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
8. Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.

Skill Requirements:

• Degree in Engineer (Economical Engineering, Industrial Engineering)
• Previous experience: maximum 1 year
• Additional experience as Internship, Erasmus, International experience is a plus.
• MsOffice (Excel knowledge; pivots)
• English: advanced.
• Available to travel to be formed in Tenaris processes.

Structure of the program:

• The Global Trainee Program is a strategic development tool that aims to build up a reserve of young professionals with a strong industrial background and with potential to become the future Tenaris leaders.
• All Global Trainees entering Tenaris will pass through a formative two year plan, standard within all Tenaris, designed for the purpose of being the key tool to develop talents within the Group. During this period, two assignments are expected to be completed, including a change of area, supervisor and objectives and will be periodically evaluated twice a year, every six months.
• Once the program is finished, eligible Global Trainees will graduate primarily based on several aspects including performance and potential evaluations, informal input and committee’s results, from the past two years.
• The Global trainees as expected to attend 1 month Induction Camp in Argentina, which provides a complete overview of Tenaris's business, products, procedures, key markets and growth strategy. Along the 2 years program, it will be provided an intense training activity composed by e-learnings, classroom course, articles, videos etc.

The 1st assignment in the program relates to Commercial Operations area, with the following activities:

• Follows up the Commercial process from the reception of a customer’s request for Quotation to the fulfillment of the business sale, following up the following sub-processes: Offer preparation, Purchase Order Entry and Follow up.
• Is responsible for carrying out the Offer Engineering (including third parties products and post-processes quotation).
• Is in charge of the sales order initialization and the purchase order acknowledgement.
• Controls the status of the order and carries out post-sales administrative tasks.
