Position Description

The Project Manager (PM) role is charged with developing and implementing a project on brand expansion in Russia as well as with supporting Unifood’s partner with the project on soft cheese factory construction in the Leningrad region. This will be achieved by building broader and deeper relationships with key stakeholders to utilise partner company’s technical expertise and knowledge and implementing it in the Russian market. Success in this role will require close collaboration with various internal and external teams acting as a connector between partner company and local teams.

The PM is responsible for leading and driving product development activities as well supporting our partner in project development for soft cheese factory construction in the Leningrad Region. This will require close collaboration with Technical and Marketing functions to design technical solutions and value propositions. Ultimately success will be measured by timely and profitable delivery on brand development plan.

The PM will utilise technical expertise, technical network, and project management disciplines, commercial acumen, networking skills and influencing skills to co-opt resource and support to expedite opportunities and remove roadblocks for technical delivery.

The PM is responsible for ensuring that business is executed in line with partner company business rules.

Qualification and Experience

Technical Requirements and Expertise:

• Proven Project Management experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and Russian
• Ability to set clear goals and measures of success and track performance accordingly
• Computer literacy
• Highly numerate and analytical
• Track record of delivering results
• Excellent relationship and influencing skills
• Fast learner - ability to acquire profound market knowledge, including but not limited to key players and leading brands within the shortest possible time
• Leadership qualities – ability to lead the international team and deliver results in highly demanding environment
• Preferred - Experience and skill in business analysis and opportunity assessment.
• Preferred - Commercial acumen
• Preferred - Customer-focused expertise with skills to translate, communicate and champion the global customer requirements

Education:

• Higher education (Business / commercial, Management, Economy, Marketing, Finance or Technical)
• Preferred - Having a dairy focus

Experience:

• 5 years proven technical experience preferably in a food production environment.
• Preferred - Experience in marketing and new product development
• Preferred - Good working knowledge of the dairy industry
