About the Role

The Analytics and Reporting Team Lead manages product and client project development teams to deliver high quality solutions while promoting a collaborative environment across R&D, delivery, and implementation partners. The role aim is to bring the right amount of process and persistence to ensure projects run smoothly, people do their best work, and good communication is happening both within and across teams. By developing innovative analytics and reporting features that make data meaningful and actionable to users, you and your team will shorten the gap between data and the meaningful operational insight for our commercial clients. The resulting solution follows the latest trends in analytics and is developed with long-term product enhancements and maintenance strategy which should reflect in developed code as well. The product and all its implementations work well with the rest of insurance suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of a project implementation, including: solution blueprinting, design,
• development, testing, user acceptance, deployment and support
• Manage release management and ensure delivery according to the approved schedules
• Contribute into estimation and resource planning
• Resolve impediments for development team
• Prepare and manage sprint plans and boards
• Manage implementation risks
• Document and verify delivery methodology
• Understand all terms and limitations under which a solution scope is to be delivered
• Assist in the development of data models and design specifications
• Track and monitor progress with status reporting
• Review and coordinate alignment with other insurance suite components
• Coaching teams in SAFE, Scrum and Kanban methodologies

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven analytical aptitude
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully on large projects with minimal supervision
• Problem solving skills evidenced by demonstrated results in past positions
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple/detail-oriented tasks
• Ability to influence at all levels of the organization
• Ability to travel to client sites (minimal)
• Deep knowledge of management methodologies
• Insurance industry experience/knowledge preferred
• Undergraduate degree required, Master’s degree preferred
