Our Financial Services Advisory practice focuses on providing key Financial Services industry players with solutions that help business adjust to rapidly changing regulatory and market conditions by implementation of new standards, automation of business and re-engineering of internal processes. We offer you an exciting opportunity to participate in complex project of implementing IFRS 9 and upcoming IFRS standards for key players of financial services industry.

Responsibilities:

• Implementation of new reporting standards for major banks including transition to IFRS 9
• Implementation of local requirements for banks, transition to IFRS and RAS
• Reengineering of business processes in financial departments
• Involvement in design and development of accounting standards, policies and methodologies in accordance with IFRS and RAS
• Communication with clients and consulting them on various IFRS issues in case of necessity
• Involvement in preparation of client deliverables, reports, proposals, contracts and other project-related documentation as well as marketing materials

You may be involved in the following projects:

• Assessment and development of quantitative financial risk assessment methodologies
• Review and development of the client’s risk management system
• Basel capital adequacy framework planning and implementation
• Capital allocation methodology review and implementation

To fulfill the role the candidate is expected to meet the following requirements:

• Higher education in Finance or Economics (specialization in Mathematic is an advantage)
• Minimum 2-3 years of audit, or accounting or advisory experience in banks
• Deep knowledge of RAS and IFRS (including IFRS 9, IFRS 39)
• Good working knowledge of English (not below intermediate)

As an advantage:

• Practical experience in preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS is an advantage
• Participation in accounting and reporting IT-system implementation based on 1C, SAP, Oracle or other platforms is an advantage
• Knowledge of basic principles of PD, LGD modelling, stress-testing is an advantage
• Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, DipIfr) is an advantage
• Knowledge of financial module of ERP systems (SAP Business Suite, Oracle E-Business Suite) is an advantage
