The opportunity

Our growing Financial Risk Management team is looking for professional with consulting experience in insurance industry to address the increasing demand of Russia and CIS market.

Responsibilities

• Managing the following project assignments:
  • - Implementation on the reporting requirements under Solvency II for insurance companies
  • - Manage Solvency II implementation programs
  • - Manage IFRS4/IFRS 17 related projects starting from gap analysis down to IT implementation
  • - Risk and capital modelling for insurance companies/actuarial services
  • - Improvement of key processes in insurance companies, incl. optimization of reinsurance mechanisms
  • - Assist in due diligence with respect to actuarial aspects
• Driving business development initiatives (sales and client relation activities) and new product development for insurance related services
• Coaching, performance management and development of the skills in the team
• Acting as a key contact person within the firm for different service lines

To qualify for the role you must have

• A Master degree in Mathematics or/and Actuarial Sciences, PhD degree is a plus
• 3+ years of pure consulting experience with focus on Insurance acting as engagement manager
• Proven track record on Solvency II related implementation projects as well as IFRS9 and IFRS 17 projects for Insurance companies
• Demonstrated strength in building client relationships, developing business opportunities, project management and senior management communication
• A solid knowledge of risk management in Insurance companies, Solvency II and IFRS 17
• An understanding of economic/market issues in the Russian and European context and the ability to interpret their impact on clients
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English, proficient level of Russian is preferable
• A global mindset and the drive to work in challenging environment
