Copywriter / Web Content Editor / Texter

Job description

eKomi is searching for an entrepreneurial, energetic Copywriter / Web Content Editor / Texter with passion, intelligence and creativity to lead copy across eKomi's marketing, creative, sales and website channels. The eKomi Copywriter will be a critical player in shaping and enhancing eKomi's messaging and brand voice. The perfect person for this role is someone who is experienced with SEO matters, thinks outside of the box to provide new ways to engage our customers via copy and is adept at moving quickly and multi-tasking as needed.

The eKomi Copywriter will report to the Head of Marketing and Go-to-market and collaborate very closely with the CEO.

Primary Responsibilities

• Shape and evolve the tone and voice of the brand in collaboration with Marketing, Business Development and Sales teams.
• Maintain a clear and consistent brand voice across all channels.
• Write compelling, highly-engaging communication that meets marketing objectives for all emails, subject lines, site assets, promotions, and fine print.
• Provide copy support for social media and the eKomi blog, as well as other ad hoc projects.
• Constantly come up with new and innovative ways to engage and market to our existing and potential clients via copy.

Required Experience & Attributes:

• High-impact, a fast-learner, adaptable, collaborative, curious, passionate, bold, open, honest, innovative, commercial and customer-centric.
• Fluent English
• 3+ years' copywriting experience, proven track record of SEO-related writings
• Must bring bold, creative ideas that push the envelope and drive results. Experience in utilizing a strong brand identity to drive direct response.
• Superior writing skills, familiarity with basic industry standards. Well-organized with attention to detail and ability to copy edit.
• Strong interpersonal skills, and loves to collaborate with members of own team, as well as across teams.
• Strong creative problem solving skills; ability to interpret analytical thinking into copy concepts and work closely with marketers and designers to support overall messaging objective and aesthetic.
• Deep-seeded entrepreneurial spirit. Must thrive in conditions of rapid growth and change, tight deadlines, and be able to deal with ambiguity and prioritizing multiple projects.
