Overview

Head of Finance reports to Director of Administration. The main objective is to supervise effectively the whole financial function of our School and ensure we use capital and resources beneficially in according with the set targets and budget. To fulfil the companies’ obligations, Head of Finance has to create foundation of School financial health in the long run.

Requirements

• University degree;
• Proven work experience in related field as a Head of Finance, Director of Finance or similar role;
• Experience working at non-commercial establishments and retail are preferable;
• Excellent knowledge of finance data analysis and forecasting;
• Extensive understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and accounting;
• Vast experience in budgeting and risk management;
• Strong knowledge of tax regulation in Russia;
• Experience working with governmental authorities (reporting and inspections) and audit organizations;
• Advanced English and Russian is a must;
• Advanced problem-solving & decision-making skills;
• Ability to handle a large amount of paperwork and data flows;
• Excellent organizational and time management skills;
• High sense of responsibility & flexibility;
• Proficiency in computer literacy (Mac, Microsoft Office, Internet).

Responsibilities

• Establishing financial strategies by analysing its performance and risks;
• Oversight of finance and accounting teams;
• Implementing school financial and accounting policies and procedures in compliance with the Russian financial regulation;
• Forecasting and follow-up of cash flow monthly, quarterly and annually;
• Oversee all audit and internal control operations;
• Preparation and participation in audit inspections;
• Interaction with banks on daily basis;
• Control of tax and accounting reports to the state bodies;
• Annual budget execution control and preparation of its report to the Board;
• Implementation of cost-saving and cost-reducing procedures and budget optimization actions;
• Develop secure procedures to maintain confidential information;
• Legal valuation of the contracts and financial documents;
• Implementing automatized projects to run financial workflow.
