Job purpose

The Bitfury Group develops and delivers both the software and the hardware solutions necessary for businesses, governments, organisations and individuals to securely move an asset across the Blockchain. The expertise of The Bitfury Group ensures successful, easy, fast, secure and cost-effective connectivity to the Blockchain.

We are looking for a Content Editor to join our team to help popularize solutions developed for the next-gen financial services based on cutting edge blockchain technologies.

Duties and responsibilities

• Editing articles written by journalists of the project and approving to publish them;
• Take responsibility for the whole content published on the website of the project;
• Моnitoring of trending and breaking news and topics pertaining to specific topics in the blockchain industry;
• Writing and publishing stories, photos and/or video scripts based on several sources (including internal sources in the company);
• Producing features, explainers and all sorts of original and unique (exclusive) content;
• Taking interviews from developers, researchers and key people from the industry

Requirements

Must have:

• Demonstrated experience with writing articles from scratch;
• Experience on editor position at any info resource (web);
• Advanced English and Russian (reading and writing);
• Strategic and analytical thinker;
• Readiness for challenges and to implement innovations;
• Passion for learning cutting-edge IT/software technologies and communicating these ideas to broad audiences;
• Self-starter requiring minimum supervision

Nice to have:

• Experience of working in an IT company;
• Familiarity with blockchain technologies, understanding of cryptocurrencies and experience with writing articles on these topics
• Working experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Joomla, Drupal etc)
