The applicant will be working with the predominating focus on petrochemical industries in FSU (former Soviet Union) area

Assignments for Topsoe licensed plant as Shift supervisor, within mainly but not limited to the FSU area.
On assigned plant to manage a team of operators (hired by customer).
Secure a safe, optimal operation of the plant based on overall instruction from the Operation Manager
Train, educate and inspire your team of operators, your fellow shift supervisors and the Operation Manager.
Prepare management reports for potential and actual operational issues.
Prepare input to maintenance plans.
Assist Operational manager with coordination of working permits
Make plant and process evaluation
Report deviations in performance of catalyst, equipment, instruments and construction materials, etc. to relevant people at Topsoe and to customer
Scout of new opportunities for HT technology and catalyst
Maintain contact and communication with customer of licensed technology

Fully understanding of the process, and the initial start-up and operating procedures. Training and learning will be offered to support this, but the candidate will need to bring solid general qualifications from similar plant operation
We expect you to have more than 5 years’ experience as a shift leader for Petrochemical plants. Candidates with longer time experience will be preferred for the job.
Experience form commissioning and start-up of a Methanol plant will be considered as an asset for the job
Bachelor degree in chemistry or mechanical, or equivalent
Excellent mechanical and chemistry knowledge, with a flair for applied mathematics
High level of spoken English and Russian
High level of written English and Russian
Communicative, and self-motivated personality with initiative and capability to work in teams where the team comes before the person. Available for travelling up to 200 days per year
