Our client – a large international Oil and Gas company is looking for Commercial Analyst.

Role:

The Commercial Analyst will identify and evaluate new business opportunities and pro-actively seek and run BD initiatives. Further, the role will be responsible for the commercial monitoring and updating the companies license portfolio and perform analysis on the profitability of company’s investments. The position provides support to the Company’s commercial operations and supports both short and long term sales, production, development and acquisition decision making through economic modelling and market analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Build a comprehensive business model for the portfolio;
• Support the implementation of the gas and liquids marketing strategies;
• Develop and maintain economic models for markets of interest;
• Ensure value is optimised with ragards to product sales and asset / project value;
• Run project economics and evaluate profitability under different scenarios;
• Analyse new business opportunities and develop portfolio strategies;
• Evaluate conditions for commercialising assets;
• Participate in project reviews and analysis;
• Produce detailed project presentations and documentation for sign off;
• Identify, escalate and resolve risks, issues and dependencies with Asset Development Managers;
• Identify and document factors for change in the project economics and communicate to the management team;

Be responsible for health, safety, security and protection of the environment at the workplace, participate in basic HSSE trainings, and contribute to integrate HSSE into the company culture.

Requirements:

• Education: Engineering, Industrial Economics or equivalent;
• Preferred experience in Energy and Industry sector of Russia;
• 5 + years of experience in business development;
• Excellent financial, analytical and problem solving skills;
• Knowledge of engineering for oil and gas projects;
• Proven ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities;
• Demonstrated project management ability;
• Ability to analyse complex projects that interface with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders;
• Ability to work well in a team;
• English level – Upper-Intermediate;
• PC skills – MS Office, TM1, Palantir.

Conditions:
