Deloitte CIS is seeking a Senior Consultant to join the Business Intelligence Services team, a part of the Forensic group within the firm’s Financial Advisory Services department; the position is located at our Moscow office.

Deloitte CIS’ Forensic and Dispute Services group is the largest, best-resourced forensic practice in Russia and the CIS. Our team has substantial experience in conducting fraud investigations, reviewing prospective investments, and providing litigation assistance, business intelligence, and other critical services to our clients.

The Business Intelligence Services (BIS) team performs comprehensive integrity due diligence (IDD) reviews of companies and individuals using publicly available information and various analytical tools. The team’s key services are:

• Analysis of the reputation and business standing of Russian, CIS and international legal entities as well as their key principals (shareholders, senior executives, etc.);
• Informational support for fraud investigations;
• Litigation support;
• Asset tracing;
• Employee screening;
• Sanctions checks.

  The Senior Consultant role will involve:

• Searching and processing publicly available information: conducting data searches on designated themes, legal entities and/or individuals;
• Utilizing special software for data processing (including visual relationship analysis);
• Carrying out structured and unstructured data analysis;
• Preparing reports (primarily in English);
• Taking part in the delivery and presentation of key findings to clients;
• Participating in the training and management of consultants (in terms of both research activities and report writing);
• Project management (overseeing BIS projects from beginning to end).

Requirements:

• MA degree or equivalent from a leading university, preferably in economics, finance, journalism, political science, or sociology;
• 3+ years of experience in the field of analytics, journalism, banking and finance, etc.;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Russian and English are a must
  (knowledge of other languages would be a plus);
• Accuracy and attention to detail;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Responsibility and accountability;
• Ability to take ownership of his/her work;
• Strong analytical skills, ability to structure large volumes of information and prepare digests;
• Critical thinking, ability to separate facts from opinions as well as reputable, reliable sources of information from second-tier media sources;
• Skilled in using various information sources, including corporate and media databases (SPARK Interfax, Integrum, Factiva, etc.), and in making effective use of search engines (Google, Yandex, etc.) in advanced searches;
• Mastery of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Good knowledge of the Russian political and economic landscape (key decision-makers, top businesspeople, major market players, etc.);
• Ability to present ideas clearly and concisely;
• All candidates must have full travel mobility and, for non-Russian citizens, a permit to live and work in the Russian Federation.
