Deloitte is seeking a Senior consultant to join the Supply Chain Management group (Strategy & Operations group) within the Consulting department at the Moscow office.

Our Supply Chain practice is a leader in helping companies integrate business strategy with supply chain initiatives to drive operational excellence. Our deep industry experience encompasses new product development, inventory strategy and integrated demand planning, sourcing and commodity management, manufacturing footprint strategy and operations, distribution network and logistics optimisation, and sustainability.

We employ programmatic approaches, leverage analytical capabilities, and offer managed services that can help improve top-line growth, lower costs, reduce response times and increase productivity. We lead our clients from the design to the "make it work" phase, nurturing close collaboration and a trustful environment.

The role will involve:

• Contributing to and leading complex target market research assignments for Deloitte’s potential and target clients in the retail, FMCG, logistics & transportation, oil & gas, metals & mining, and media, technology and telecommuncations industries
• Contributing to and managing consulting project assignments under time pressure, through proactive, responsibility-driven work in project teams, as well as by actively taking on project management roles
• Interacting with Deloitte’s clients at the management level
• Supporting a variety of supply chain activities in marketing and pre-sales, actively developing new business as well as repeating business opportunities within client organisations
• Developing a personal network within the Deloitte Global practice to ultimately adapt global experiences to the Russian and CIS markets
• Drawing up a personal development programme covering educational development as well as a business development strategy and goals

Requirements:

• Master’s or specialist degree in math, econometrics, computer science, physics, engineering, business administration or operations research
• Two or more years of experience in management consulting or in an industry with multi-national companies, specifically in operations excellence, business process improvement, or business process automation. Consulting experience related to supply chain management will give you an advantage in case of more experienced candidates
• Broad knowledge of supply chain management concepts, tools, and preferably practical experience in at least some of the following focus areas:
  o Demand and supply planning
  o Production planning
  o Sourcing and procurement
  o Sales and distribution
  o Supply chain network optimisation
  o Transportation and warehouse management
  o Lean 6 Sigma
• A strong combination of team spirit, project management skills and the ability to manage client team members as well as Deloitte professionals
• Convincing and credible presence
• Experience with multi-national companies and an international educational background or work experience will be a strong asset
• Project experience with software packages (e.g. SAP APO, Oracle SNO, JDA, Barloworld CAST, Cirrus CLASS, AnyLogic, or analogues from Russian SCM software vendors) is a strong plus
• Proven analytical ability based on experience in complex quantitative analysis and work with complex data models
• Strong conceptual thinking abilities
• Strong social and communication skills
• Strong focus on delivering quality and strong advisory skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Russian and English
• All candidates must have full travel mobility and the right to live and work in Russian Federation
