KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Project Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing engineering strategy in his technical domain for projects he is involved in. He/She ensures delivery of all elements of engineering strategy, controlling related subcontractors and managing the project design from project development phase until successful completion of project. Project Engineer challenges technical departments to get accurate and competitive estimation.

Design engineering strategy with the Project manager:

- Collecte and challenge information from technical department to build accurate and realistic estimation

- Collect compliance constraints and recognized opportunities

- Ensure that design of the plant will match Gas supply Agreement expectations and internal stakeholders expectations (BL Director, Operation Director, HSE Director...)

- Manage internal and external validations to ensure Basic and detailed design are done in accordance with Group Safety rules and local reglementation

- Follow-up of suppliers in accordance with the contract from the fabrication process to the delivery

- Responsible for all documentation requested for custom clearance on exploitation

Implement and monitor the Engineering Strategy

- Prepare technical assignments, issue all technical documentation and contribute to selection of subcontractors - Prepare technical comparisons between each bidders

- Ensure follow up of contractors (quality & schedule)

- Control the coherence of scope of work; deadlines and quality of materials and working drawings

- Validate any deviations from initial design documents

- Control the process of preparation of as-built documentation, insuring that subcontractors are managing it by appropriate standard (local and Group rules)

- Participate in construction , pre-commissioning and commissioning stages coordinating any outstanding technical matters

- Participate to ready for start-up process

- Ensure that the technical solutions proposed are fully compliant with Group Safety rules

Project closing

- Ensure that all technical project documentation is ready to be shared with Operations Team

- Assist Operations Team in interpreting the information contained in technical documentation

- Work closely with all internal and external parties to ensure all technical documentation is available on time to be approved by State Authorities at different stages of the project

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

- Master’s Degree, preferably Science or Engineering (Instrumentation, Automation, Process Control),

- Minimum of 2 years experience in instrumentation design, can issue specification to purchase instruments,

- Strong technical expertise in instrumentation and automation, rules regulating equipment design, SNIP and construction codes, compliance and permitting rules in particular for documentation

- Knowing Autocad,

- Knowing DCS as Yokogawa, Siemens, able to make modifications of configuration, able to add new loops,

- Can read and modify PID in accordance with ISA,

- Having experience to draw Functional diagrams,

- Having experience of loop tests,

- Native Russian language speaking and fluent in English,

- Strong Safety culture,

- Ready to travel to foreign country
