About the role:

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of financial reporting and required to maintain accurate and timely financial statements under both Belarusian, UK GAAP or IFRS. The successful Financial Accountant will join a fun, fast-paced, and high-growth company while also being directly involved in the ongoing building and improving of the accounting processes. This full-time role will interface daily with internal departments, upper management, external vendors, and service providers. The position will have close interaction with UK based Financial Manager and must have a highly proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cash journal entries, monthly bank reconciliations, and prepare period cash projections

• Support the monthly financial close process and prepare monthly reporting pack in accordance with GAAP or IFRS

• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures in accordance with our internal control requirements

• Interface with various managers outside accounting to develop internal controls and operational policies and procedures

• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements, including timely preparation and filing of appropriate documents.

• Ensure monthly financial results accurately portray current operations and activities

• Coordinate auditor, legal and management review of financial transactions

• Support overall business expansion

Requirements:

• Bachelor or higher degree in Accounting or Finance

• Knowledgeable of UK and Belarusian GAAP or IFRS

• Internationally recognised Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA) would be a plus

• Exceptional organizational and communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information to various levels of an organization

• Upper intermediate+ English speaker

• Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail

• Able to work independently, committed to learning and development, flexible

• Creative approach to problem solving. High aptitude for management, planning, and analyzing business situations
