Well-known international company (Retail) is ready to provide Senior Lawyer an opportunity to realize an expertise within the company

At this position, we expect you to provide legal support of construction related projects and real estate assets securing that in fast, efficient and professional manner.

Responsibilities:

• Complex legal support of construction related projects: new construction, reconstruction, capital repair, modernization and upgrade of real estate assets;
• Legal support of land issues, obtaining of permission documentation, networks connection issues under construction projects;
• Advising on matters concerning industrial safety of properties under construction and their subsequent operation;
• Preparing of legal opinions (due-diligences) and advising re broad range of matters associated with real estate assets and construction process;
• Due Diligence of contractors;
• Drafting of design, construction, lease, servitude and other type of contracts, associated with construction process; preparing various of different types of legal documentation;
• Identification and providing recommendations in order to minimize legal risks identified during construction process, suggest an optimal legal solution for different matters;
• Coordinate construction projects from legal side;
• Pre-trial settlements of disputes.

Requirements:

• Min 5-6 years after graduate legal experience;
• Obligatory work experience (min 3 years) in construction and commercial real estate in Russia;
• Fundamental knowledge of civil, land, town-planning legislation and other related laws and regulations in Russia;
• Good knowledge of Russian arbitration practice related to real estate and construction issues;
• Awareness of full construction process, starting from pre-design stage until putting real estate into operation and state registration of the ownership;
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts is a plus;
• Strong negotiations and communications skills, attention to details, good team-player;
• Advanced level of English language.
