To support our R&D team in Troisdorf we are looking for

Senior Software-Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• You will plan, implement and record software for embedded systems considering applicable regulations in medical engineering, especially IEC 62304;
• You will further develop new applications and interfaces for information exchange between active medical products and external applications;
• You will create, implement, integrate and perform tests of new software on the basis of already existing systems;
• You will bring experience in conception and development of hardware devoted software;
• You will plan, perform and record software tests;

Required Skills:

• A university degree in Engineering, preferably with the focus on IT and Sofware Engineering;
• Extensive knowledge of C/C++ or QT LIBRARY or LINUX or application development system ECLIPSE or basic knowledge of different assembly dialects (ARM, 68k, PPC, MSP430, x86);
• Practical background in programming of software for medical devices and verification / validation of software according to IEC 62304 is preferred;
• Basic understanding of electronics, test devices and troubleshooting of electronic circuits is preferred;
• Good command of English in speaking and writing.
