Responsibilities:

Design, build and document data ingestion, processing, and storage pipelines and services to handle large volumes of both unstructured and structured data
Design APIs and the underlying data models for both internal and external applications
As part of a small team, work on all parts of new products: frontend tools, backend infrastructure, APIs, etc.
Develop products in the emerging Autonomous Vehicle industry

Requirements:

Strong software and systems architecture design skills
Strong API design skills and experience
Knowledge and experience building microservices systems and serverless applications
Strong knowledge of and experience designing REST APIs (GraphQL is a plus)
Knowledge of and experience with protobuf, gRPC or other RPC frameworks
Strong working knowledge of and experience with AWS, Azure or other cloud platforms
Experience with container technologies (Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes)
Experience with Apache Kafka or similar
Experience with database technologies, Cassandra is a plus
Good English communication skills
Bonus: Experience building web applications using modern frameworks: React/Redux, Vue.js or Angular
Bonus: Knowledge and experience working with ELK, Prometheus, Grafana
Bonus: Experience with Terraform
Bonus: Understanding of application security best practices

Terms:

Compensation is 75 000 - 150 000 ? /month, depending on experience and skills
Work hours may include working evenings (Moscow time) as part of the team is in the U.S.
