Leading international oil & gas operator Company opens a position of Junior Lawyer.

Project details:

• Location: Moscow.
• Work pattern: residential.
• Start date: ASAP.

The rate for this position is negotiable.

Main Responsibilities:

• Dealing with the day-to-day legal affairs of the Company and ensuring that its operations and activities, as well as of those of the Group in Russia, are carried out in compliance with applicable laws and with appropriate legal supervision;
• Legal support in connection with governance and other corporate aspects in the joint ventures; analyses of decisions and documents put on agendas of its corporate bodies;
• Participation in structuring, drafting and negotiating agreements and related documents with regard to acquisitions or divestments;
• Legal and compliance due diligence;
• Preparation of filings to antimonopoly authorities in respect for approval of investments/divestments;
• Dealing with registrators /custodians in connection with companies’ of the Group direct accounts /custody accounts;
• Participation in meetings/negotiations with contractors and suppliers; assistance to contract department representatives;
• Legal support of pretrial actions with contractors and suppliers, preparation of claims, letters of complaints and other documents; assistance in settlement of disputes arisen from any transaction;
• Legal representation of the Company and its managers in arbitration and courts; preparation of statements of claim, applications and other proceeding documents;
• Assisting Company’s Compliance Officer in implementation of anticorruption compliance program.

Requirements:

• Experience in oil and gas, corporate law - 4-5 years;
• At ease with MS Office software;
• Fluent in English.?
